Seems I can't get through any video without a crash on my PlayBook. Cleared the cache and did a restart but I am still unable to watch videos using the browser. Has anyone else experienced this or is it on my end.

I did a search but all results were from 2011.

A user in USA reported multiple youtube failures to display videos in the last few hours, but I had no problems here in UK. The problem might be at youtube or traffic profiling in busy networks.

I have problem with Youtube & Blip; their commercials usually play twice & then skip to the very end of the video. This could be resolved with an adblocker, Which is not available for any of the browsers that work on Playbook.

Origami Browser has an adblocker, but not sure if it will help in this situation...(?)

Just tried it on Stock Browser, Origami, Dolphin and Fast Browser, I didn't have any issues with vids.
Just a shot in the dark, but try resetting Modem/Router?

Origami has been crashing for me with regards to Youtube. The stock browser works better for youtube in my opinion.

A lot of us experienced Origami crashing more often with the latest OS update. Try a reinstall of the app; that seemed to fix the stability issue.

Apparently Youtube has been making some changes in the back end, so that might have something to do with what's going on.
