Hold down the left ALt key, right shift key and the H key to get the help screen. Look at the line App Version.

Woke up this morning and even on Standby with wifi still on my pb was only down to 77 percent. I went to bed with it at 85 percent. Score! Question about the Bridge. It needs the bluetooth and wifi on to work?

Something might still be running. I do not turn off either bt or wifi overnight. I lose a couple of percentage points with both ON. I don't see any real reason to change that - it would only mean that I have to remember to turn them back on again each time I want to use the unit or even if it was just a morning issue - why bother. I want my pb ready to do what I want and that means leaving those two radio/communications features ON all of the time.

As someone suggested, you may be on AT&T if you get a Tether intercept message. Delete the bridge version you have and visit RROYY.com and find the version of Bridge that matches your phone's OS version number.

You would download bridge version 2.1.0.25.
There is an update available for your phone through att. You can do it over the air or plug into desktop manager to install the update. The reason I mention it is because you would need a different bridge version for the new phone OS. If you plan on updating the phone then do that first then install bridge 2.1.0.26

Try the latest OS provided by your provider, which should be at least a 7.1 OS. The 9900 forum is the best place to find info on this. If you are on AT&T you will probably have to stick to an AT&T build or you may have a muted mic Bug on some AT&T towers. The Hybrid OS forum also has a thread dedicated to a custom AT&T OS.

I wouldn't suggest doing the OS update over air as it can be very slow. It is best done with a PC and the BlackBerry DeskTop software.

I checked my Bold for an update and it said it was already up to date. So i guess that means no OTA update?

You will have to do some research on the 9900 forum in regards to OTA. It may only be available via the DeskTop software, but there is a new 7.1.0.694 available from AT&T.

PB is full of problems such as this. Apps work half the time if at all. Don't know how there are so many swear by PB.

I suspect you didn't read the thread Dong , but instead just trolling. The problem was the app work exactly as intended. The op was offered a solution to the problem.

If you connect with desktop manager via USB cord then you should see a pop up with the option to update. There is also a check for update button somewhere on there. It's a better then OTA anyway. Just remember after the update, you will have to delete the bridge app and install the. 26 version for 7.1.
