My old PlayBook is like brand new! Didn't regret at all buying my BlackBerry 10 phones but PlayBook was a big mistake. No updates since years!! Would be good idea if BlackBerry makes Androidish playbook. I'll buy it immediately.

Nope, never! They would have put less emphasis on the security of the device and more emphasis on why I MUST have one. No one cares at how secure their devices are, they just want them to play Pokemon on them!

If you see the peoples reaction on BlackBerry videos when they know what security means u would know why people would care. And still I can run Pokemon on it

Never mind about the Playbook, let worry about if the hardware division will survive next year!

Try installing DTEK and the other BBRY 'droid apps on an Android tablet. If it works - congratulations, you have the new Playbook.

There are no signs that it won't. Remind me next year to discuss this again

The Dtek app may work but the hardening and the other components that are not visible to the user won't be.

Not buying this crap any longer. I want my BlackBerry to run OS10. If I wanted Android i could have bought Android years ago. Id love Samsung or Sony to buy the OS 10 from BlackBerry. Its too good to become obsolete. In the right hands it would sell well.

You could get a dtek 50 and pretend it is a tiny playbook.

Kelom, where are you getting your on-line movies from?

And is the Playbook OS sufficient to play them? Or have you tweaked it?

The Z30 was the replacement for the Playbook.
Does everything the "original" was supposed to do.

Nope but would buy an updated specs wise playbook "2" running BB10.
Maybe even figure out a way to give us the FIRST and ONLY physical Keyboard on a Tablet!...

WOW, also that run time update which I know will never happen would be nice.

Do you happen to have the .bar file for Origami Browser to share? The latest 1.0.2(?) I need to sideload it, it is nowhere on the web so somebody smart enough to pull it must have it on there desktop, etc. HELP!...

    Thanks, DPR
