Not sure what your question is? My playbook starts slightly faster after the OS2.1 update.

If you were on beta before the official 2.1, chances are you might not notice much change on boot times. I for one, was surprised with the threads about faster boot times... Just to realize most people were still on 2.0.

If faster boot time is not from rim doc on 2.1, I don't believe it.each update, people said so. It boot time spends on a lot things. Each time, when I reinstall windows 7 in my laptop, it restarts faster

Well if you were on the OS 2.1 Beta, the only end user feature you would notice is Bridge SMS and actually that did work with the Beta version, out of curiousity I tried it before I updated my PlayBook OS when we got the Bridge update and it worked. So technically from the surface level you wouldn't have noticed anything different. Most of these updates for the PlayBook were incremental and they dealt with primarily bug fixes and security updates. Which personally I don't see it as a bad thing because I wouldn't buy a device based on promise but rather what it can do on that day.

what i meant to say... UPDATING an OS should take longer, It should download some 300-400MB's i think.
but when i update my PB, it says it need restart. so... i did. after restarting... it is already updated. How COme?
    anybody knows?
and i dont even know if it beta my current OS is 2.1.0.1032

Well how big was your update? You can check your OS level by clicking on the gears icon and looking under About

I'm still lost on what you are trying to ask. What OS is it running now - click on the gears and About. If its running 2.1 then you don't have a worry??

after re-starting the OS was instantly UPDATED.
SO... i thought it will download first, but it didnt.

Here is how it works: update notification > OS download > OS installed > PB reboots.

I get what you mean now. Yes, the update download was bloody fast. Mine was 336mb, but felt like 3mb. RIM has been kicking the infrastructure a notch so we are probably seeing the results now.
