I was watching this video and between 2:10 - 2:18 it says that the wireless video streaming technology is already in PB.

    Really???

Well, you can stream wirelessly to and from your PC with your PB, so if you have a TV that is wifi enabled and can see your PB and its file system, I suppose it would be possible.

If your tv has a usb port on back, there is an usb hub (wireless) so you can connect to your tv. I Google connecting to tv wireless with the playbook and came across it.

The post above got me Googling as well and I find a "wireless media stick" made by a Canadian company out of Calgary. Seems it would work for the PB (and almost any other device for that matter) and I am just wondering if anyone is using this device?.

Perhaps a new thread is in order ?

Thank you guys for your replies. I also found out that something called DLNA technology should have been implemented to playbook to do exactly that but it seems that it hasn't been done yet. I am quite confused because the guy in the video talks about wireless tv streaming as if it is a function that already exists in PB but apparently it's not. Anyone can enlighten me a little bit more what this DLNA technology is all about and how I can use it with PB (if it there already)?

    The short answer is, no.

Here is a BerryReview boasting BlackBerry PlayBook DLNA Media Streaming Certification Coming Soon.
That was April 2011. 18 months later we still don't have DLNA support on the Playbook.
Soon means different things to different people.

I have read articles where DLNA is supposed to be included in BB10 and it is included in some releases of the phone OS 7.1.
