    Hey crackberrians!

Does anyone know if the wireless N issue is being addressed in OS 2.0? I love my playbook, but would really like it if this was resolved.

    Can't wait for next month!!

My PB drops packets or something on N. Browser will stop loading, pages won't display, etc. I usually have to refresh multiple times before it works -- even on Crackberry.

I had read on some other threads that the PB has issues with wireless N, but seems to be fine on B or G.

My wifi issue with the pb is the need to reboot router after the pb was suspended overnight. Even if i reboot pb it wont reconnect unless i reboot router.

I had the issue up guys really talking about. I have a d-link dir - 655. If I have more than one Wap in your house trying turning one off and see if the issue improves. I had a second Wap that wasn't playing nice with the 655. Replaced the second with the d - link dap-1522. Now I surf effortlessly throughout my entire house.

Sounds like a DHCP issue. I'd assign the PlayBook a static IP and you'll likely not see that happen. Some routers suck at DHCP. Cheap Linksys ones come to mind.

The PlayBook doesn't play well with the D-Link 655. Check around elsewhere in these forums and you'll see the history. I had this router as well, and was having constant connection issues (and could also never connect at N speeds). Upgraded to a new Cisco/Linksys, and now I'm flying!

I had my previous router (Buffalo Tech n450 with 3 Hi Gain antennas) drop signal on my PlayBook due to the "Mixed mode setting" ( think of yourself speaking 3 different languages "B/G/N" at once with 3 different people, Yikes ). Since all of MY devices are "N" and MY GIRLFRIENDS devices are "B/G" I was forced to use it. Furthemore, I live in NYC and there are 20+ wifi signals in my area running on the 2.4 Ghz band. Last week I got me a dual band router and now I use the 5Ghz band solely for my Bold 9900 and the PlayBook and the 2.4 Ghz band for all the other devices in the apartment. The PlayBook and the Bold 9900 haven't had any issues with dropped signals or anything regarding wifi. Now I play NOVA 2 HD and Modern Combat 2 HD on Live multi-player mode without getting shot
