Sadly, probably not because the HTML 5 implementations of Netflix will require encrypted media playback support (DRM) basically that has to be ratified for the next version of HTMl5 see: https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html-media/ra...ted-media.html

How Netflix works on select Chromebooks is with certain closed-source libraries that decrypt the protected content. This is similar on embedded systems (PS3, Xbox, Blu-ray players).

The PB browser will almost certainly never get the updates to support the new HTML5 spec (that is still months/years from ratification) to support any HTML5 Netflix implementation -- especially since that is probably at least 12-18 months off anyway.

Honestly, if you want Netflix, get a Nexus 7 or a used original Kindle Fire (I got two off of Craigslist for $75 each and this was in Oct. '12 -- before the Fire HD was out -- my husband and I use them as Netflix and Cablevision 7" displays in our kitchen/office) for cheap.

If you want a PB to play -- that's awesome -- but don't buy one now (especially now) with the idea that it will ever be any better than it current software.

So, if you hate the PlayBook so much, what are you even doing on this forum? Do you go on Apple sites and "troll" their forum too saying Apple sucks and Windows Phone is best thing out there? I'd hope not, because if you really think Windows Phone is the best phone out there, you need to be introduced to my old Razr...it kicks Windows Phone's **** in every way...

The PB is no less a "real" tablet than the others...each has its pros and cons.

I'm rocking a windows 8 tablet as well as the PB (2 of them), and they each have their purpose.
