I am having trouble with WIFI file transferring between my XP and PB.

I go to 'Run' and type in my PB's IP address (\\XXX.XXX.X.XX) and it comes up with error 'The network path was not found'
When I type in my bros PB IP address everything works fine and I am able to transfer files with no problem. Only difference in settings between mine and his PB is that he doesn't have a password on WIFI sharing and PB in general.

Did anyone encounter this problem and how did you fix it?

BTW WIFI file transferring works great with my Mac and both PBs

Sometimes your DHCP server (router) will give you a different/new IP address.
Did you double check that it didn't change?

It didn't change, could it be that my bros PB "reserved" Z drive letter and that its preventing my PB from connecting?

Again, recheck your ip address and check your brothers' pb's ip address.
