I hope someone can help me with this issue. On my Playbook, suddently the wifi and bluetooth have stopped working. I've restarted 4-5 times and still not working. In the pull down settings I can turn on Bluetooth but it won't finish to turn on. It freezes at, 'Turning on Bluetooth'.
Also, the wifi just continues to run, 'Finding Available Networks'. It will not recognize any wifi, at home, work or at a local hotspot.

Has anyone else had this problem? It worked two days ago and then suddenly yesterday all connections stopped.

If you're restarting using the option in the battery icon, try a reboot. Hold the power and volume + buttons until the screen goes blank. The PB will restart on its own. If that doesn't work you may need to reload the OS.

Try the rebbot if you haven't already and report back.

I've tried the reboot three times now as suggested but still get the same results. Wifi won't connect and the bluetooth says trying to turn on then the Bluetooth connectivity button will cut back to OFF.

How old is the unit?

The PB has a one year warranty to the original purchaser. It also has 90 free Tech support. I do not know how Rim deals with "quasi-tech support v. warranty"

I bought it the first day the PB came out, so I know it is past the warranty. When I get a chance, I'll have to call the tech support.

According to reports on this forum BlackBerry was fixing some PB's with a common camera problem after the one year warranty ended. It's definitely worth a call. they offered to fix my flush power button past the one year.
