My Playbook is on 2.0.0.7971. We just got Time Warner wideband 50/5 service, and a Cisco/Linksys E3000. My wired desktop and wireless laptop both attain the advertised 50mb down and 5 mb up. The Playbook is only getting around 30mb or less on speedtests. I have tried forcing to WPA2 and Wireless-n only, but it doesn't get me there.

Should I be expecting the Playbook to be able to fully utilize the bandwidth available, or am I just chasing my tail?

Any similar experiences?

I haven't had mine go much over 30 either. But I did get a bit of a boost when changing to cleaner channels. I think the wifi just had problems with noisy channels where a PC might not. Probably due to the wifi antenna being embedded next to electronics

But I wouldnt kill myself for the extra 20. Appworld (etc) wont go faster than 30 anyway.
