enter the following information where x is the ip address of your playbook.
to find the ip address of ur play book, go to:
    options
    wifi
tap wifi logo with question mark
    tap device information
    tap internet connection

    \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\media

You entered the ip into the run command and still had issues? The pb icon in the network does not work any longer so don't use that at all.

I can open an Explorer window for example the c: drive and then copy/paste the following into it and it will open my wifi-shared pb.

    \\192.168.1.103\media

Now, that's my address, substitute yours and try.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the password for the wifi sharing is the router's password?

Restart your PB and try again. I was trying to setup my wifes PB this morning and got the same errors you mentioned. About 10 minutes after the restart it worked.
I followed a guide I found searching the forums but can't find it now. It was easy to follow with screen shots. It also had instructions for mapping the drive.
    Anyone have that bookmarked?

I had that problem a while ago. See if this helps:

    Open a cmd (command prompt)
Check your network mapping: net use
You will get a list of mappings, one of them maps to a generic $IPC share to your PlayBook, iirc. You have to remove that connection
    Enter: net use /delete enter_mapping_uri_here
For instance: net use /delete \\192.x.x.x\$IPC

I hope that works for you!

Yes that's it. Now following that guide I could not connect the PB. PC said I didn't have access and some other similar errors. After a PB restart and a few minutes of time I was able to connect.
