I tried downloading a movie online and had constant failures. - it would not complete the install. I thought it was unstable wifi connection or something. BB Tech Support helped me figure out I simply had not enough storage available which caused the disruption. Duh? Why in the world does the Playbook not have an available space warning like every other computer on this planet? This means you need to manually check for available space using the About/Hardware function to know what's up. Someone should write an App for this problem.

At the moment, a 3rd party app could not "intervene" in a space issue - it could merely report your space as you find in the About/Hardware function. 3rd party apps don't have the ability to work in the background and respond while downloading in the Browser (or other app).
