    During the last OS update I have lost all my local contacts that took some hard manual work to enter.

    Having read on the forum that similar has happened to many and that a simple anti-dote was syncing with my desk top manager prior to the update, I have decided to do it NOW.

    Strangely, upon launching the DM (even the latest version), I am not able to find the option...I pressed 'sync all' and the pop-up said enable contact syncing. I did but nothing happens. I tried to go into my PB accounts to see if the was anything to check off for local contact - nothing..

    how to fix the problem /

    I believe in DM only media can be synced? Contacts and calenders can be synced via gmail or outlook. Its about time this option is available with the PlayBook

    The DM software only syncs contacts/calendar for bb phones at the moment, unfortunately.
