I beg to differ - it radically changed mine not to have to lug a laptop around and wait for it to boot up or unhibernate, or find a power plug for the always dead battery, or a wifi hotspot (in some cases that is secure - nearly impossible) ....or to recover from not having computing power and internet access near when I desperately need it. Saves me time every day to either: make more money, or have more leisure and less stress.
Playbook has dramatically reduced my stress level to always have the internet close at hand.

Fair enough. I guess it depends on your definition of "life changing." For me the playbook is just a tool and sometimes an entertainment item.
