    I have a BlackBerry PlayBook and have managed to connect it to my Laptop using BlackBerry Desktop. I have also managed to do a general backup of the files. Unfortunately the Music and Media can't be synced as I get the message "A problem occurred while attempting to connect to your BlackBerry device.
    Can anyone help please?

    Have you tried updating to LINK.... my Playbook worked fine the last time I used it with LINK (maybe a year ago).

    Also have you rebooted both devices?

    The PlayBook has an issue where sometimes backups fail because of one thing or another. I remember creating a list of reasons it can happen once but almost always it's trggered by files or permissions of some type.
