Why am I unable to record audio?

Device - 16GB Blackberry Playbook (Wifi Only)
updated to OS 2.1.0.1917
Whenever i tried to record through camera, i never get audio recorded and also tried through its voice notes app but still no voice recorded..
Also tried Updating, restoring and other recording apps on it..
Voice recorded Static and voice meter in voice notes app looks still and do not move at all.

possibly the built in micophones or some shared component is dead.
Another possibility is that your playbook erroniously thinks a headset is plugged into the 3.5mm jack.

bluetooth is off??

bluetooth does not support HSP(headset profile) so it won't matter.
