    My wife owns a Blackberry phone, I have a Playbook. The two devices are not bridged.

    Starting today, when using the PB, I am being constantly nagged to sign in with a Blackberry ID.



    We used her Gmail address when initially setting up the PB last month.

    Why is this showing up now, and how can I make it go away?

    You need to change the BBID to your own.

    Do a Security Wipe and then go through the set it up with your own chosen BBID.

    Did you change the BBID username, i.e. the gmail ID used the first time.
    The PB needs to associate with a BBID for it to access app world and download/buy apps as required. So your PB needs a legit BBID to function, or else you will be nagged to provide a BBID.
    I dont see/know any work around on this problem.
