I've owned my PlayBook since December 20011, also have a Bold 9900 which I love but once my current contract is up I'll be buying the Z10 and Q10 both. One for myself and one to replace my wife's iphone, she actually prefers my Bold, that is when I'm willing to swap phones with her which isn't very often.

From Scotland myself. Picked up a 64gb Playbook for �99 and thought it a real bargain because I was going to get a Kindle Fire instead but it had less features and storage. Playbook does everything the Kindle could and more, for cheaper.

What is with all the Canadians with Playbooks? Do you guys hate Apple as much as the Japanese do?

I'm not sure if the japanese hate apple, but hate is a strong word I wouldn't wish them dead as more choice drives innovation hence the birth of Blackberry 10.

I do know myself being a canadian but not speaking on behalfnof all canadians I do dislike apple alot. This is not a choice based on fanboyism by far, I dislike the way apple runs its business. they release last years technology on current gen products and still selling them at a premium price point. the physical button being used in 1 billion different ways (obvious exaderation) an os that generally hasn't changed since 2007. and then there is the ipad mini comes out 2 years after the playbook and the playbooks specs still beat it so when we get bb10 on playbook we will have a far superior product.

if apple makes a genuinely good product and I'm hoping they do with Ios 7 and the iphone5s or 6 what ever they do.
but fighting a out what phone is better is foolish everyone has different needs and some phones work good for others
and others for others.

Ah, I didn't mean hate lol just wondered if there was a general trend over in Canada to purchase Blackberries instead of iPhones and other Apple gear as in Japan where for some reason they tend not to bother with Apple products at all which is in stark contrast to Scotland where it's totally mainstream.

What's all this I've been hearing about BB10 on Playbook though? I only got my Playbook last week and it's the first Blackberry product I've ever bought so I know nothing about BB10. What sort of benefits does it bring?
