Hey everyone. I've been away from BlackBerry for about 2.5 years now. Just ditched my iPhone 5 and picked up a shiny new Z30, which I LOVE! So I dusted off the old PlayBook and found it was dead. Red light followed by flashing yellow lights. Tried stack charging, no dice. Picked up a nice 64gb on kijiji for $75 and all is good in the world. Or so I thought. I was hoping to just Bridge my Z30 and PB for mail but I see this isn't an option any longer. When did it go away? It's not a deal breaker by any stretch but I'd like my tablet and phone to mirror each other for mail. I don't want to have to delete everything twice.

Lost when BB10 was released in 01/13. Be thankful it's improved since then... it used to be horrible. They've slowly added sms, BBM, phone call notification, etc.

Thanks for the reply. So maybe it will be added, and maybe not. The irony for me is that its the ONLY Bridge feature I actually wanted. Oh well, at least I have a phone again that does what I want it too.

I don't think that it'll be added. The PlayBook and even the BlackBerry Bridge is EOL.

Agreed. Bridge I doubt is getting any further updates, so don't expect the functionality to return. You can always set up the playbook to receive email itself, and then the internet connection is shared with your phone when you bridge, BUT that does mean that messages get d/l twice.

Yep, it seems to done and overwith. Which is fine. My Z30 can handle email tasks. I don't need email on my PlayBook, would have been a nice to have via Bridge.
