is there a shopping channel store in your area?
they have a really good deal going for a 64GB PB with EVERYTHING you need (Dock, Case, HDMI Cable) for just $30 more then the actual 64GB PB at BestBuy
Well 199$ is the going price for a 16gig. You can look on Craigslist for other options. You missed the big sale from Telus a month ago. 16gigs were selling for 150$. Good luck.
so were 32GB... but then they magically ran out of stock
Thanks, that's not a bad deal ( Buy 64GB BlackBerry PlayBook 7" Bundle with Rapid Charging Pod, Folio Case & HDMI Cable, Blackberryand Tablets & ebook Readers from The Shopping Channel, Canada's home shopping network-Online Shopping for Canadians ) but it's online, I am looking for a B&M store. Also I am looking for the Cheapest, not the best deal though.
It's for a friend and she just told me now that she wants one. :(
Oh well if it's $199 that is still a very good deal. Much cheaper than I paid for mine.
Just a bit of info I thought was interesting that I came across whilechecking around:
The Futureshop website has the PB featured on their homepage. Also on the homepage is a sale on BB OS7 devices and lower down a blog post about PB OS2.
The Bestbuy website also has the PB featured on their homepage. And one of their Featured Brands is Blackberry.
So that's 5 mentions of PB/BB, it's nice to finally see RIM getting some love.
They should have that in the store.
but yea, it is not the cheapest. lol.
A co-worker bought two 16GB Playbooks yesterday from Sears for $135 each.
They did a price match (-10%) with the Telus ad.
This was in NB.
So did you check their stock? You can do that right from the web store. FS, BB and TheSource will all show stock level at local B&M stores.
Otherwise, do a search via Shopbot.ca or Pricegrabber.ca.
Amazing deal....I've checked at Sears but haven't found any in stock (downtown Toronto).
The price is great considering Sears has gone back to $299/$399/$499 on line.
If you are willing to go south of the border, I see Office Depot in Bellingham still has the 64 for 299. Limited availability.
If you want refurbished Blackberry, Megatronic Cell Phone Services at 1321 Kingsway carries a selection. Depending on what they have in at the time, they may or may not have the PB. Safer than Craigslist because they offer warranty. :)
