Use your playbooks while you wait - once Mr.Thor is gone, we would have a nice tablet running BB10 OS.

Don't start planning now. In 2 years the mobile landscape can change a lot.
A piece of truth in a fog of tabletism. The Only constant in the world of electronic devices is change, and possibly myopic devotion to inanimate thingies.....

It just offers far more than a bigger iPod touch.

Easy, I'll dust it off, repair it, then sit it down to gather more dust.

Since BB10, I've had no need to use the PlayBook, with the exception of one or two games. When I'm bored

I have 2 playbooks, but ever since I had my z10 and now z30 I don't use them anymore. Was toying with the fact of getting Sony experience z tablet, but now with the z30 that is now not necessary.

Z30, and yes, it's a bit on the heavy side...

My PB has developed a lump, anyone else have a lump (hot) lump on the back? Not even a year old. Also will not turn off, must try a few times. Called for Service, Ha Ha!

I get a feeling things are WORSE at BB than we think.

My buddy left his iPad on roof of car, after using the location tool, the police returned his badly damaged iPad. He took it to Apple Store and the gave him a Refurbed Similar model. Now that's incredible service.

After today's phone call, I realize it's over folks, they could give a **** my PB is about to explode. RIM/Blackberry does not give a ******* **** about customers.
Considering you were likely speaking with an outsourced business partner of BlackBerry instead of an actual BlackBerry employee your experience is not surprising. When BlackBerry employees were providing technical support any BlackBerry PlayBook issues were handled in a professional manner even if the original support period had expired.

I really liked the concept of the Ativ Q, but I think Samsung backed off the Android piece, for whatever reason.

I'm going to load Blue Stacks on my Surface Pro 2, for the best of both worlds...
