I know some time ago Whatsapp used to work in the BB Playbook, my question: is still a way to get it working nowadays? I can succesfully instal it but I keep getting the "Whatsapp has a problem and it needs to be installed again" prompt. Thanks everyone!
Have you a Playbook with SIM or only WiFi?

Wifi only, but is that a problem? I know of people using in it in other tablets that have no Sim card.
Okay so activate PC mode (developer/desktop mode) on your playbook then open (there) the page web.whatsapp.com
On your phone, open the What'sApp application, swipe down from upper bezel and you get one symbole named What'sApp Web.
Scan the QR-code and it should activate the connection.
It is like blend. Your phone should have internet connection (SIM or WiFi). If your phone is not connected, you can�t use What'sApp.
Works ony any other device/internet.
I did not try it myself though!
I have What'sApp on my Q10 and could not pair my Passport with it. It said your device is not compatible on the web.whatsapp.com page.
So if you get the first thing done and see the QR-code, you win!

I tried it now...
I forgot how that desktop mode popped up in BB10 but not not on the PlayBook.
Never minded, I opened web.whatsapp.com on the browser and got a never-ending turning wheel.
I gave up after 2 minutes... the page opens faster on PC. So at least try it yourself on your PB and/or PC.
