    So whats the deal with the GPS, do we have GPS or not and why does bing maps need internet connection and not GPS? I'm confused I thought the Playbook had GPS.

    Bing needs an Internet connection to download the maps.... how do you think it's going to get all of that info?

    We need Navigon, Tomtom or MotionX GPS. Offline GPS apps.

    I don't think it's enabled in this build.
    The GPS *is* enabled. Just open Bing Maps and press the round thing at the top right corner of the Bing App. It also works for Poynt.

    so how do I make bing maps start directions with my current location if i'm tethered to my BB? And bing keeps pulling up stupid longitude and latitude, any way to turn that off?
