I just bought my first playbook off Kijiji (16gb barely used original package for $80) and am liking the experience so far

I bought mine for the specs for the price; we have a young child who loves screens and after one downed laptop cheap tablets seem to be a better option for the risk. After buying a 64gb for a friend last year for my workplace I see a lot of value still in the tech especially in the used market.

You can understand sellers reluctance to part with their PBs if they paid full price. I found most sellers on kijiji in my area want more than retail sale or regular price for theirs. I take the lowest value I've seen and just take off 1/3rd for a pristine playbook

My basic pricing goals for used PBs (with minimal increase for accessories)
    16gb $80 (retail 129-159)
    32gb $100 (retail 118sale-159)
    64gb $130 (retail 199-220)

    What are your target prices?

No real scheme for me.....I just watch for deals. But you are correct, some prices on Kijiji are more than retail now.
I was able to purchase an unopened 16gb for $125 when they were retailing for $149plus tax, back in July. I was pleased.

I have seen the 16gb playbook for $100 or less often on our local kijiji with equally good deals on the 32 and 64gb models, many times with extra stuff thrown in like cases, screen protectors, and chargers, and they normally sit for awhile before they sell if they sell at all. It's a very odd phenomenon, especially since everyone went bonkers over the hp touch pad. I would certainly pick up another if we needed one, but we already have two in our household.

I remember the firsttime they had the big sale for $199. I was one of the sleezeballs that bought about 5 of them and sold them for $300 each on kijiji because they were out of stock every where.

My Nokia tethers fine with the Playbook ... I also took advantage of the deal at pc world/currys and got a 64gb one too... I think it's an awesome piece of kit. The only two things I want to make it perfect are that they implement USB OTG in the next OS release and that Hexcode do a port of the GS911 software to it (BMW Motorcycle diagnostic software)
