I have only charged my blackberry playbook 2 times and it seems to be stuck at %94 battery life. How come this isn't going to %100 or atleast close to it (98% and higher). Will my playbook continue to lose charge everytime I charge it. If so, I am returning it asap

Did you do a complete discharged of the battery(use your PB until it shuts down) to calibrate it. I did it twice and my battery life has improved by an hr or more.

mine stops at 54% but that was right after the latest update. I'm thinking that has something to do with it.

96%. Can bump up to 100% if I plug it in to DM after it reaches 96%.

Edit: It now goes to 100% via normal charging. Odd.

98%. Here I put it on to charge when I go to bed. Lowest it has gotten was 8 or 5 percent and a loud alarm started going off. I am afraid to discharge it completely after some of the stories I have read on here.

Mine was charging to 94% then it is 97% after1710 update. It drains some when i don't use it and i think something is messed up.

I'm having an odd issue with mine today. It will charge while it is on, but if I fully power off, it won't charge at all. Anyone else having this issue?

Mine charges to 100%.

Am I not supposed to leave it on the charger every night?
I always want a 100% charge when I leave the house every day. I've never let it discharge completely. I didn't think we had to do this with these newer batteries.

I get 100% every time. I keep mine always on, and I charge it overnight with the other toys.

mine only charged to 96%. when i plugged it into DM, it went down to 94%

i'm gonna try to break this in for a few more days and return if necessary.

is it me.. or does the blackberry logo in the back get warm basically all the time?

i noticed that it wouldnt charge when off on the first nighr. thats a little odd, mine's stopping at 98% too.

drained it down to 20% last night and charged it.

This morning, it's at 95% after 9 hours.

After an an hour and a half, still a 95%.

established fact that the battery meter is useless

mine had been all over the map until yesterday when it got stuck at 100% and has been there ever since...if i plug the pb in it doesn't show battery is charging

Mine went to only 96% for the first few days. Now it goes to 100%. Give it a week or so to calibrate itself and allow RIM a few OS updates. I think it's a software issue....

also... it seems I have been at 100% for the last 6 hours.... so I don't know how reliable the battery meter is.

i doubt it's a matter of 'calibration' but i would say you are right on about it being OS related....i'm sure RIM is aware and will fix it....i think i remember same issue when i got the storm 1 too

Sounds like the battery management is broke on some. Hope it will be fixed
