What levels should my battery be at?
Evening all,
I've just downloaded battery guru and wanted to check my levels with the experts. Its power is showing at 3.28w and the battery voltage is 3.69. The battery health is 93% and the PlayBook itself is about 5 weeks old. I have about 12-15 apps and have got 4-5 movies and about 50 songs.
It does seem to decrease fairly rapidly. How does this all seem?
Thanks in advance
Re: What levels should my battery be at?
In the app swipe down from the top and click the link. There is a description of the values displayed.
Not much can be learned from the information you provided. The health sounds good to me if you have enough charges for it to be accurate. What's is the recharge count?
I leave the app running almost all the time. It's nice to be able to look at the log if something unusual happens and to make sure it's charging.
EDIT: The amount of apps or movies stored will have very little if any effect on the battery life. The amount of "power" you're using is what discharges the battery. Leave the app running and check it occasionally. That way you can see the differences in power consumption between different uses.
Re: What levels should my battery be at?
If you recharge the PB when its about 20 or 30%(even higher for some) youll see an increase in the battery life. Mine improved from 83%(with one and a half month) to 86% now that it has 4 months...
Its charge related, not apps related(its only use related, when talking about the obligatory extra-charges if you use it more often).
Re: What levels should my battery be at?
My Playbook is about 3 weeks old now and battery guru shows it at 90% health. Although disappointing since it's new, from what I've read here that could be normal since some units sat on shelves for awhile. The other unit that was picked up during the sale is at a similar level. Since it's still early on in the charge cycles it could change, but I wouldn't worry unless it starts dropping dramatically.
