A380? that thing is a beast!!!! when i lived near JFK airport, the only huge shadow appears when it was landing. (my building was under two approach paths.)

Hi 9of13 it is actually a modified 747. It was modified to carry the component parts from Italy to the U.S to assemble Boeing's new Dreamlifter aircraft. I managed to photograph it coming through my local airport.
Here it is side on -

exactly! I tried 1024x1024 and it doesnt fit quite well, looks too ZOOMED in, and in 1024x600 the sides get cut of like in my pic! I wanna see the whole wallpaper like I see it in the viewer! lol

Take a 1024x600 pic and resize it in photoshop to 1024x1024. That's what a CrackBerry article said. You can Google search it and it should be in the top results.

What I am doing is a bit more complicated but looks good. Use a 1024 x 1024 image as your background. Composite the important part (the part you want to see all of in either landscape or portrait) as approx 600 x 600 in the center of the background.
