Wedding question
Hey guys, I have a question for you. I have a friend who will be getting married within the year and she has a problem of some family members and mobility. She would really like to have 2 family members at the wedding but they wont be able to attend so she wants to live stream it from the wedding.
Originally, I was thinking maybe skype because I know the computers at the other end can handle skype. Without a native app, I wasn't able to download skype from the website and I'm not sure it can handle 2 web conversations at once. I'm sure there is the ability to side load the app but that problem of multiple chat still is there.
Then, I was thinking about maybe using multiple playbooks to shoot the video and have them on a playbook back at their houses. I don't really know anyone with a playbook so my use of video chat is basically non-exsistant. Can multiple chats go on at once or am I in the same boat as I was with skype?
If I have something on my playbook and want to connect it to a projector I should just need a HDMI cord right?
Any idea's guys? Anyone know any good live stream sites that I could use?
Thanks, guys.

A blackberry or any mobile phone is not the best way to handle this IMO. Get a camera and a laptop with Skype and do it that way. More reliable an less variables involved. There is not Skype app available for blackberry (except for select Verizon phones and evn then video isn't possible)

Solution: UStream.TV
I recently got married, and successfully used UStream.tv (free account, with short interstitial ads during the livestream). The best thing about UStream is that it also allows you to record your broadcast for later viewing!
If the place you are getting married at does not have WiFi, you can always use tethering (my entire wedding only came out to about 500 megabytes used on a low/mobile bandwidth stream setting).
I recommend using the downloadable UStream Producer software in conjunction with a WebCam.
Sorry this isn't a BlackBerry PlayBook-based solution, but this is the best thing!
Of course, you can always use your PlayBook as a "stream monitor" by going to your Ustream channel from the browser and watching it there to ensure everything is solid.
Hope that helps!

There is an app called private eye that allows you to stream from PlayBook to a email account. I haven't tried any long range but it is a good app worth the cost. Good luck to the wedding couple.
