no i got one better, you can just return the one you bought, then buy it back from them
Strictly speaking, Walmart only guarantees prices of online purchases---and price matches only competitors' ads. Nevertheless it is always worth a shot to see if they'll give you a $30 refund.
Returning the PB might not work either, if they have none in stock. They could give you your $148 back, but then not resell it until it is formally re-shelved overnight. Your open box return could then be grabbed by someone else the following morning.
Dang that's a sweet deal! I already have two 16gb ones though...which the kids are always taking! Hmmmm. Heck at $1.36/L it almost costs me that much to fill the minivan each week! Maybe I can talk myself into this...
well it appears ill be heading to best buy to get them to price match. they will also price protect for 30 days. seeing as the playbookhas gone from 200 to near 100 I think its important to price protect but doubt therices can drop any lower.
ill also be getting the playbook purchasse offer for 50. includes rapid charger, journal case, screen protector
When we checked last weekend at our local Walmart, they were completely sold out. They had even phoned stores from Hamilton to Kitchener to London. Only London had any stock at all.
Looks like Staples doesn't want to get hit with price match again, already lowered the 32GB to 118 price online.
16GB going for 99 bucks now STAPLES | BUREAU EN GROS

Why hunt around looking for in-store stock (that isn't someone else's open box return) when you can order a brand new one online and have it delivered for free to your Walmart or Staples store of choice?
The blood-letting continues despite the fact Research In Motion could capitalize on these sales by releasing BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.1 on Tuesday, 18 September 2012, and announce its pending release on Thursday, 13 September 2012. How many WiFi BlackBerry PlayBooks remain unsold as of Monday, 10 September 2012? And they expect the 4G/LTE BlackBerry PlayBook to face a different fate? Who in Hades is in charge? Oh, I get it...Satan, or Lucifer if you prefer, must be orchestrating this fiasco. What's that you say? Nero is accompanying you on fiddle?
