This better not be happening. There are so many people with Playbooks now there is no need to cheat. It's the hottest selling tablet right now. If anyone here made any posts at Blackberrybase.net telling people to cheat etc like the guy at XDA is accusing of, or if one of you guys know someone who posted that thread or you posted that thread, take it down NOW! We do not need to get DQ'ed because someone feels like trying to cheat. We don't need to cheat, it is unnecessary.

Yeah I checked and it seems almost unfair to have such a bias against the playbook.
If he does have any evidence, eg. a direct link, I doubt anything large scale would be happening.
@Megacharge
I would like to see Playbook get some attention in XDA but I would like to achieve our goal the right way. I only voted once and I joined XDA Dec. 2009. There might be folks that voted multiple times but this would probably be present across the devices.
The site only allows you to vote one time per IP address, so would be somewhat difficult to cheat. Correct me if im wrong.
I could easily vote twice at home, once use my WIFI and once with my cell phone. If one is familiar with TOR, once could change ones IP with ease. I am not suggesting anyone to do this though.
Why did you go over there hollering for the mods to ban RIM haters? Really?
No need for you to exaggerate...
I didn't "holler" for anything I merely gave my opinion on why I thought he should be banned. The guy was being a bias and obvious RIM hater if you read his comments. His whole post was driven by his sheer bias against RIM and he didn't even try to conceal it. It was obviously stated in such a way as to infuriate the Playbook owners. I merely gave an opinion, I didn't demand anything from them.
No big deal, the mods there didn't take him seriously (no surprise), and the posts have since been deleted. Time to move on.
I thought you had to register - how can there be cheating?
Man people will find any way they can to dismiss the playbook. Sour grapes.
If that is the case who's to say there isn't cheating on the other devices?
