i use my playbook alot to surf the web, i have noticed that a lot of videos in web broswers want play and the link to youtube for moblie viewing won't play either.
I can't speak for the Youtube app since I just navigate to the site with the browser ... but all the videos for which I've searched have played just fine.
Can you give a specific video that you couldn't view? That way others could try it and see if we can't identify the problem.
