Hi all,
I have had my Playbook (64GB) for more than a year and a half and it has worked perfectly well, for my needs. I rarely shut it down and always keep it in the power doc when not in my hand. Once in awhile I will connect it to my mac, via usb, to backup and transfer files. I use to get the little (!) mark that warned me that the usb is unable to charge. Now I am getting nothing and the battery power indicator is showing the plugged in icon. 100% for at least an hour not tested it more. I guess the usb is charging it or I am just not using enough power on the PlayBook to drain it?
Just wondering if any of you have seen this?

USB will charge, as long are you are not using it. And painfully slow, also. I charged mine from 0 to 100 using a 600mA charger, similar to the 500mA from USB ports, it took 10 hours on standby or so.

Do yourself a favor and pick up the magnetic charger.

Its way faster and preserves the usb port for file transfers.

Yeah.. I stopped using the PlayBook and only charge it before it dies.

One of those times my rabbit chewed through the power cord, and since charging it's only a one time event in a two month span, I figured a puny phone charger would be enough until oficial charges went on some crazy mad sale. I don't really care.
