I did 2 software updates (2.01.358-2.10.560) both of them was approximately 470-500 MB. But the the update packages are still stored in my 16gb playbook and they keep 1 gb memory how can I delete them? Thanks in advance.

How do you know they are still stored on your pb? I've never really explored what happens when I install a new OS update.

All I know is that half the PB drive is hidden from us, so OP, how do you know the files are there or not?

Because every time I have done a software update my free space is 470-500 MB less. Can factory reset help?

Connect to desktop software. Simply connecting to it had solved the problem for one member here. If that doesn't fix it a reload of the OS with a debrick always does.

Debrick. Turn off PlayBook, connect USB cable, you'll see a dialog box pop up, quickly click update, then yes again on the dialog about repairing. It'll erase everything so make sure you back up prior to doing this.

Really? Trivial? You expect updates to OS but don't think new features will or can take up more space in coding?
