From a PlayBook bought at Best Buy NY two weeks ago
the update fails at 82% each time I try to install it

VIA the pb directly fails at 82
VIA Desktop Software an error occurs

Can someone please help !? So desperate

maybe its like everything else internet related, when lots of people hit the servers at the same time, things slow down.

im in the uk and havent had an issue with doing the update, so its not an issue relating to being in the eu, probably more a server load issue.

I succeeded updating via DS. Turn off your PB, open DS, connect it, and when it says 'does bb bla bla bla rebooting bla bla bla, just choose update'
Downloading the whole process again, works 100%, disconnected, and there goes another 22Mb update!

i also succeeded in updating OTA and im in the uk with an american spec playbook. i have never had any issues with updating...always done it OTA on two occassions now so its not an eu problem

finally succeeded via Desktop Software aswell after 10 tries what a relief !!

U manage to install it via DS? with no added 22MB on startup?
Then I'm the only one who's unlucky then..

I did the update today over wireless without a problem. US Playbook located in Switzerland.
