When I attempt to create or edit calendar appointments via my PlayBook, I receive a generic "The appointment could not be saved" message when attempting to save the appointment.

    PlayBook OS: 2.0.0.6149
    BB Torch 9800 OS: 6.0.0.668
    BB Bridge Version: 1.0.7.5

    Any ideas?

I sync to my desktop from the PB via my 9930, via Google Calendar with no issues. Calendar events only, no tasks

I'm a BES administrator and have my 9800 paired to our corporate BES - is this just another BES + PB issue?

I get the same error message trying to create a new appointment on the playbook. PB is bridged to 9900, connected to BES. Bridged email is working fine.
    PB OS 2.0.0.7971
    BB OS 7.1.0.267
    Bridge 2.0.0.25

My calendar won't let me save anything, the sync icon keeps going on and on, sometimes it does stop but the problem is still there.
And haven't been able to syn any of my calendars either (gmail, outlook, Facebook).

Even the PB local calendar dosent let me save appointments- any ideas, anyone.
Done the restart and the reboot, deleted all accounts added them back- still nothing.

    Thanks.

My calendar app works perfectly. Saves and syncs with no trouble. Gmail account, Facebook, Twitter accounts all linked and working. My only trouble is setting up my work exchange account. Can't get that working at all.

I am just stumped that even my Playbook local calendar is not letting me save an appointment, syncing is a long stretch right now.

    Case solved

Deleted every and each account, did a hard reset, added back the accounts- and bingo
    Calendar is working like butter

    Happy camper now

New playbook, not intending to sync other calendars, but the native calendar will not show any appointments entered. Any suggestions?

Just throwing out ideas - might it be syncing with another calendar (device, computer, phone) and wiping out what you entered? Are you displaying the default or other calendar and not the one you entered your data into? Hopefully, someone will have other suggestions as Calendar use is not something I use (I use Bridge calendar).
