You can see when I joined... it did help me to research the CB site and when I was able, I purchased my first PB in Sept '11, and another one coming this week.

Got mines the (BlackBerry Playbook) week that the hurricane and earthquake tremors hit the Capital Region, in Albany NY...August 2011...I've got to admit...taking that "risk" was sooooo worth it! Rewarded myself right after Blackberry assistance helped to link me up...I joined Crackberry...this site is soo incredible...it is a magazine, assistance chamber and a place to meet folks all in one...this really could possibly my best year ever!

I purchased my Playbook from Blackberry's website on the 24th of this month and joined Crackberry just now. No more lurking this site for me. Hopefully I'll have my PB within 10days, I received an email today from Blackberry saying:

Obviously joined CB long before the PB, got mine on day one, actually it came 1 day early on 4/18. Traded a Galaxy Tab for a second PB to Lucas aka N4BB.

I can't believe that I signed up a whole year before I started posting... I'm a sloooooooww reader, but sure did learn alot from all the knowledgeable posters and they convinced me that the BB/PB was the way to go... I marvel at the level of security on the OS's and that's why I stay with the BB products. I DO NOT use BES, as I wish to have my phone to myself, without my work peeking in.

i actually came here to learn about the PB prior to purchase. Reading this forum answered enough questions /concerns that i felt i was making an informed decision. i also considered other tabs but at this price point the PB was a no brainer.
