Just got a second PlayBook and was wondering if there is a way to transfer my music from one to the other either through bluetooth or a wireless connection. Thank you

Yep, it is called BlackBerry Desktop Manager and a USB cable.

Well, I believe you could use Wifi Transfer or WifiSharing - kind of.

Open both pb's "harddrives" using Windows Explorer and Select (Control A (for all)), Copy/Move directly from one to the other. I believe that I've done that.

Or the app Nexus, wirelessly. Any file in fact.

This is the way I do it. Ilove the wifi file transfer. Don't have to find both PB's. As long as they are in house somewhere I can move files around.

I also just recently got a second pb, and just like Boodrew said, nexus works great, you can transfer anything wireless, and very quickly. Movies transfer slowly because of their size, but photos, docs, and music are instantaneous.

Curious - do you need TWO copies, one on each pb?

Yes F2 it has to be on each PlayBook. Wifi transfer would be the best free bet. Nexus is awesome and good old email works although it's not very practical.

Besides Nexus, Dukto also works well between Playbooks

Thanks for all the replies. I went with the nexus app because I didn't want to have to use a pc to be able to do it because my main computer is usually at work. It worked great! It took awhile because I had to transfer about 900 songs. Is there away to select all the songs in file manager? I couldn't figure out how to do that so I had to select them 1 at a time. Thanks again for the help

Oh, I thought the OP said "not wirelessly." Speed reading has its downsides.

A good app, a bit annoying that it only uses the stock browser though, would be good if it would let you browse selected folders

    Dropbox FTW!

Another option would be ES File explorer. Can't remember if I got it in appworld or if it's sideloaded, but...

it let's you map network shares. So you could put one playbook with wifi sharing enabled and in theory browse it with the other and download your files.

I use ot to stream music and video of my home media center to the playbook. I can leave all my music on my media center shared drive and listen anywhere in wifi range.

Check it out, let us know how it goes.

that process should work for the op though right?

enable file sharing on the source and use ES on the other. He should be able to xfer files directly.
