As I understand it when I attach PB to Mac with usb cable, the PB should show up as a drive under Devices on the Mac.
It doesn't. What might I be missing/ doing wrong?
    Thank you.

You have to install some drivers on both Mac and Windows to get file sharing over USB.

    Do this too:
    - Open up the main Preferences screen
    - Go to Storage & Sharing
    - USB Connections: Auto detect
    - File Sharing: On
    - Wi-fi Sharing: optional

It will show up on the desktop as a shared folder or in finder as an ip address. It maps as a network drive, rather than mounting like a USB drive.

You may also want to download the BlackBerry Desktop software from the BlackBerry web site. It will alllow you to sync your media to the PlayBook and may also insure that PlayBook support gets added.
