I would be interested in that too. So if anyone knows, just let us know.
please ..............:)
I just go to streamhill.tv and us an Eurosport video feed. You do have to get through some garbage advertising.
Wish there was a better way.
Here are a few free apps I've found. One of them only works in portrait and they aren't the most comprehensive (no streaming video) but they do give information about the stages, teams, leaders etc.

If anyone has apks for other Tour apps I'll be happy to convert them.
Here is the converted Android app.

Surely the best place to look at Le Tour is:
Tour de France 2012
Yes, I just loaded the TDFbySKODA app and it seems to work perfectly, somewhat surprisingly even the streaming video :)

You are correct after loading the Android app I returned to Tour de France 2012 and preferred follow it there. I would like to see an subscription app where you can pay to watch full races on demand on my own schedule.
erm - ITV
it's on itv 4
free and live every race day
The tdf android app is nothing special. There are plenty of tdf streaming sites online for that play on the playbooks browser. Do a google search. Look for the uk stream that is english.
Tour de France *yawn* :P
And they have easily the best theme tune of any sports programme anywhere
I don't watch the Tour. The guys are full of products it is almost non human.
The Skoda official app doesn't work for me. It gets stuck in the black android player screen.
Works on 2.1
Universal sports has a great ios app. Maybe they have and Android one, too.
Btw, a Canadian, Ryder Hesjedal, just might win this year's Tour de France!
The website is the best experience I have found to view the tour besides watching it live. Both the PB and laptop are an equal experience. The Android app (sideloaded on PB) is a distant second with the iPad app coming in last (video not available in my area). What I don't understand is why non of these options have the ability to view legs in entirety. While I like the woman's french accent featured on the highlights I still want more and I want it on demand so I can watch on my schedule. I guess I should get cable and a PVR and quit complaining, but in this day in age shouldn't the tour be more open to types of online pay per view?
I struggled to watch the tour because I've been keen to follow Ryder's progress. Now that he is out I doubt I'll continue because it is just too much trouble to find good coverage without a TV.
It was unlikely he would be able to win although I was enjoying seeing him do so well in the early stages. After an incredible job at the Giro he would have needed a miracle to recover and win the Tour. London 2012 is just around the corner, hopefully he will be able to recover in time after his crash and early withdrawal.
