My new (1 month old) Playbook is back from repairs. Fast RIM 4 day servicing and FedEx delivery! Excellent phone Client Service from RIM (Canada).

But... aside for the On/Off button that was repaired, keyboard still heavy and still is 50% non responsive.
Plus sluggish OS. All problems where described (plus my original e-mail to RIM included with PB / FedEx packaging).

Back to RIM 90 days Warranty servicing... and my Z10!

Your current problems sound more software related rather than hardware. A security wipe would probably fix this.

Go on to your settings menu, select 'keyboard' and change all your settings as shown.

It quickens things up just that little bit and since I used this setting I haven't ONCE had a sticky keyboard

The reset will also help, but do it BEFORE you change the settings........ for obvious reasons

My PB technical issues where explained and written in detail! Seems to me that Quanta/BlackBerry (Tennessee US) should have applied full repairs. Prior to repair delivery, RIM guided me through a clean sweep of my PB.

Thank you for your tip. No results. Like that "sticky keyboard" expression exactly put for my second call to RIM Warranty.

Its a shame to here you're still having problems. Mine was very much the same and I'm still getting to grips with it now.
I will suggest a 'feather light" tap on the keys with your virtual keyboard, its a trick to master but once you find it you never lose it, and double check that top box is definately NOT set to 'automatic' because that had mine deciding mid-text what it wanted to be.
I use the keyboard on my phone for longer texts, I know it shouldn't replace a working keyboard on your tablet, its your right to have something that types independently, but I will say for the record, these virtual baords have nothing on a static qwerty keypad. Its what made BB's so great in the first place!, a little Electronic-Heritage. if you will!

By the way, the PB has a ONE YEAR Warranty in the US and maybe longer in some European countries or other jurisdictions. The 90-day thingie is for phone technical support.
