    I mentioned before that RIM was working on ways to ensure that it never happens again. Testing different OS' to find the root cause, implementing OS changes etc. etc. Now, PlayBook OS 2.1.0.1114 is being tested internally and one option RIM has now included is local backup / storage of PIM info to ensure that data cannot go missing in the same manner. I know that doesn't help those who lost the data but point is they're aware of it and working on it.

    I didnt really care about it happening on my PlayBook but if that happened on my phone i would be pretty pissed. then take a breath and upload my last back up via bb protect.

    So this would just save time from resetting up Accounts?
    That.. and ensure no data is lost, because you have a local, secured copy of it on the device in a sep. sector of the OS.
