I'm thinking of selling my 16GB Playbook with the standard charger and Rapid charging dock. It's in like new condition and has OS 2.0 on it. I've had it since the initial PB release date, but never really used it. Also have a nice case on it as well. Any idea what it's worth?
Note that eBay and Amazon listings factor in the fees and most often S&H.
In any case, you are better off selling locally/directly IMO (less uncertainty/no surprises from unscrupulous buyers). Try Craigslist or the Crackberry Marketplace forum. I'd say around $100 before shipping is a fair price if your unit is in a good condition.
I have seen a 16gb, unboxed, no accessory's except the charger it came with, didnt even have the neoprene sleeve, for sale, and sell, second hand, for..... wait for it.... 160 (thats $250)
now consider, exchange rates and international price differences, aside, that the PB only costs 169 ($264) new
so if its in good condition, with accessories, and if you get lucky, you might get pretty close to current retail price for it.
I've been looking for a used 16Gig PB on Kijiji; most of them are listed above list price! Hoping the used ones come down once the 4G/LTE versions become available. The massive capabilities of PB pretty much preclude me ever selling the one I already have.
Better to use it as a desk clock... or an mp3 player... or as digital picture display... or as ebook reader, small pdf files, email, news, office documents... or even as desk calculator while holding your papers down... you can also use it as a mirror (front camera) if you don't know someone who you can chat using its own native videochat... or use it as simple spy camera if the lady in front of you is gorgeously hot and beautiful... worst, you can use as stone if your cat is keep stealing your foods... etc... than selling it at US$50... afterall, you cannot find something that do all those stuff at US$50...
