How much battery drain are you noticing when you are doing tethering via bluetooth? Do you keep it on all day?

Doing the same thing with my HTC Icredible, extremely easy and it's pretty fast, $16.00 for 2Gb...Lets see if I go over the limit.
Plus both my phone and the PB use micro usb, one cable charges both devices. Love it.

I am living in The Netherlands and even the settings from T-mobile The Netherlands were pre-installed on the Playbook. I thought it was slow because I was using the Bridge Browser

Yes, you have to sign up for a DataPro plan to access it.

I've done quite a bit of tethering with Rogers also and the speeds are pretty good. I love that it is so easy to tether with the playbook.

I am on T-Mobile and am able to tether but the last couple of days my connection drops after a few minutes. I don't have a tethering plan but was told some time ago that I could tether with my legacy plan. So now I wonder if TMO is tracking those who don't have the $20 plan stop it.

Will it be possible to tether and also use Bridge? In other words, be able to use BBM on playbook and the full browser.

Yes! We figured out that you have to connect bridge first and then start to tether. That worked for us with the tunneling tweak.

I was tethering today. Connected for about an hour almost. On t-mobile. But half of that I was on wifi. I forgot to disconnect.

    Can't tether.

Sprint refuses to sell me a tethering plan as long as I have a Blackberry phone and not a EVO.

My phone has a 3G Mobile Hotspot option and PB sees that as wifi and connects to it.....it's pretty simple. I will try the bluetooth and see if that works.
