Wondering if someone can help me out...I really want to preorder the Playbook...however...I use a BB 9780 with Tmobile...I have an unlimited plan with free roaming for email, and as I use my BB 80% out of the USA, I have disabled TCP access which will allow me email and web access through blackberry.net APN....so my question is, with these settings, will I be able to tether the playbook to my 9780 and access email/web etc?
I also use my tmo bb9700 to teather to my laptop internationally. With the unlimited international blackberry plan, you WILL be charged for data. They have a small threshold where they won't charge you - probably enough for your weather app to update in the background - but eventually you will get a big fat bill.
Answer: Yes, you can do it - BUT it will cost you.
