    I am a new user.
    I have a BlackBerry 8707v unlocked (I am in the UK) (given to me by my modern son), I want to tether it to my laptop and my new Playbook on 3g network. I have 3g internet access on my Tmobile sim card.
    Can anyone help please. I am normally a Nokia man, so bear with me.

    8707 is not a 3G phone, so it does not matter about the sim card. It does not have the necessary hardware.

    My bad, I thought these were pre 3G. had an 8703 and it was one of the best phones I ever owned.
