Just wondering about tethering and I couldn't find any answers for it:
I typically keep my Torch 9800 on 2G mode to save battery life and the amount of missed/ dropped calls that come with 3G. When I tether, and if my phone is in 2G mode, will I be using 2G on the Playbook also or does it browse on the best available speed automatically?
Just think of your Torch as a usual USB Stick modem when you use Tethering.
If you set the network to 2G only (hence EDGE is the maximum) so it will run at that speed.
