    Finally called blackberry helpdesk. A nice lady called Carina solved it.

    Use IMAP in advanced settings




    description : talktalk

    display name : Martin

    user name : [email protected]

    email address : [email protected]

    password : your password
    server address : imap.talktalk.net

    port 143

    encryption : off

    smtp username : (leave blank)

    smtp password : your password

    smtp server address : smtp.talktalk.net

    smtp port : 25

    smtp encryption : off

    use push if supported : on

    sync interval : 5 min

    Cheers for that, I rang playbook support but had no luck and so I found your post and

    coppied your settings and my email with talktalk now works perfect

    I still can't set up my talk talk account. I've tried everything I can think of and followed martinryders instructions and just get the message "StartTLS is configured with server imap.talktalk.net for IMAP but the connection attempt failed. Change SSL to ON or OFF in your settings and try again. [TLS not supported by server]"

    Anyone any ideas, please?

    I was originally with Tiscali, so I replace the Talktalk script with tiscali.co.uk and everything is fine
