This might mean something, or it might mean nothing.

I'm a developer and I just went to check the Vendor page and it looks like when a vendor puts an app into the app store, they first have to select the Operating system as BBOS or QNX.
Then they have to select the min OS version number.
Finally, they select which device is supported.

The thing is, it seems like when you select QNX, there is no distinction between the BB10 and the PB. So you can select the OS version as 10, and then select that the app is available on both the BB10 and the PB.
BUT, the system seems to allow the opposite as well.
You can select OS version 2.1, and then select that the app is available on both the PB and BB10.
Now there has never been a version 2.1 for the BB10, so this might simply be a naming convention error and thus, the fact that it is showing up as PB Tablet OS 10, might be a naming error as well.

I don't think this means that they are testing, or even working on PB 10 yet.

This has been there for many months. It's in anticipation of BlackBerry10 for PlayBook. In fact it's been there even before the Z 10 was officially released.

That came out of M.Thor himself, he can delay it but he have to release it eventually because he already promised it

Another piece of hope that I'm hanging onto. Hoping for sooner rather than later like the rest of you. I'm not putting too much stock in this yet as the Q10 likely is still being worked on software wise. No time to worry about the PlayBook at the moment. I'm salivating just thinking about how much I want BB10 on my PlayBook.

This means nothing... If you release an app you can include the PlayBook as well... was there since the beginning...

There is no simulator or anything similar available to test BlackBerry 10 apps on the PlayBook...

Let's wait until mid Q2. They are focusing on the Q10 which will render the company more firm like what Nivea Q10 does to the cheeks. I won't expect to see any update until after the Q10 goes on sale for a month.

Thanks & back at ya. I've been guilty of far too much lurking these days. So much about Z10 & not much but speculation as to when (& dare I say if?) BB10 will make it to our Playbooks. Saw "soon" & apparently I couldn't resist - lol!

BB10 will come to playbook by end if year, so no way we can use a 10.0.0 app now.
