I'm looking for something to enable me to access the web when I'm out and about with my shiny new PB!
Does anyone know if the T-Mobile Wireless Pointer will work with it please?

Hi Andy,
I have one, Been using it for over 8 months with my Playbook. It does work very well, also use it with my phone and laptop as i dont really like using public wifi hotspots. so , YES the Tmobile pointer does work with the Playbook, I dont leave home with out it.One thing is the battery lasts about 5 hours before it needs recharging.. Hi Again,
No software to download, its plug-n-play,
Really quite simple:

Turn on the wireles pointer.
wait a few seconds for it to connect to the 3G signal.
on you PB open up the wifi and the wireles pointer should appear there under available networks.
you then either connect manually or use wps, you can either enter the password that came with the pointer or press the button.

The great thing about it is you always have a connection for your PB without having to eat into you phones data allowance or use public wifi

Its a great little device.
