Any *ahem* sources you could recommend that work well on the PB?
    Maybe just offline videos

I watch offline professional development videos on mine, and carry it everywhere. I also put audio books on it. Love it for both purposes.

The Bible for Playbook is the best Bible program that I have ever seen.... and is free
It has both Hebrew and Greek Concordances for free
It has the best interface for choosing a book of the Bible

And I use an external battery with it when the power runs low, I never run out of power as I use a TOMO battery pack that opens and uses laptop cells, I use 4 at a time in the pack, and charge 4 sets so I am never tied to a charger on the Playbook. I bought my 64 GIG Playbook with a keyboard for $50.00 Can

Freud used it to study denial, repression, undoing and rationalization on his unsuspecting patients.

He also used it to do lines in the bathroom.

I use mine to keep track of expenses with Kingsoft Office (side loaded), calendar appointments, playing old PC games using DosBox and general browsing, although that is not so useful now the PB browser(s) is so old as a lot of websites refuse to load.

I do miss it bridged to my 9810 though as I've moved on to the Priv.

Well even I have had to give up on that. It might work but usually it is so slow in sites that it really is unusable.

Since Stereotube stopped working a big part of my use is gone, however some good stuff still:
    - Nobex
    - a few radio/tv streaming apps for specific European stations
    - Music player, and also pairs with Bluetooth speaker nicely

The best part is that the oem folio case is super-protective, and the device itself is cheap enough that I can safely leave it with my kid without worry. Also as a photo viewer it remains the easiest way to show pics on a TV with nothing but a cable.

Yeah, I ran into this problem recently. It seems sideloading with the BlackBerry App manager no longer works in the new version of Google Chrome. If you want it to work you have to download the older version of chrome v5.9. I am having trouble finding it though.

The android version of DropBox v 2.3 works fine when converted to .bar and sideloaded.

Here is a link for Chrome version 49 for Mac or PC "https://www.slimjet.com/chrome/google-chrome-old-version.php". I use this version, the Playbook App Manager extension works fine, have been installing tons of .Bar files for the Playbook but many will not work, just trial + error. I have also installed the Android Ice Cream Sandwich .Bar launcher which offers great functionality for the Android apps on my Playbook. That, I think, is about as far as we can go.

I have started using it again because of an app - meeting grabber. It's on app world, designed as a native app. It allows me to to do video recording, audio recording, take pictures and make notes in one app. Comes with a calendar. Saved sessions are easily accessible by date, I use it in conjunction with another app - QfileExplorer, which makes it easy to find, view and delete sessions.
My work involves a lot of site visits, and I can use the playbook now to make a comprehensive record of everything I need very easily. There may be similar apps on other tablets, but since the playbook is so cheap and robust I see no need to get anything else. I am in the process of buying up old 64 gig ones so I have a supply before they disappear altogether.
